Former Ghana goalkeeper Ali Jarrah says it is unfair to criticize Black Stars goalie trainer Nassamu Yakubu for Adam Kwarasey’s prolonged absence from the Black Stars.

Kwarasey has turned down numerous opportunities to represent the Black Stars after feeling unfairly treated at the world cup in Brazil.

With Fatau Dauda, Razak Braimah all struggling to cement their positions many have touted in-form Kwarasey as the ideal solution.

Kwarasey has openly questioned Yakubu’s training methods with many calling for the head of the trainer to pave a way for the smooth return of the Norway-born gloves man.

“I do not think that Nassamu is the problem that is my frank opinion,” Jarrah told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I think that we should have our best players play for us but if we need to improve those we have to.

“The entire system is a continual one and we all have to b careful we don’t set a bad precedent for the younger ones.”

“I see no reason why Nassamu is to be blamed not at all. I think people are being unfair on him.”
