Kano Pillars technical adviser, Usman Abdallah, has appealed for calm and support from the club's fans as the team prepares to return to their home ground, Sani Abacha Stadium, for the first time this season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Sai Masu Gida will host Heartland on Sunday, and Abdallah is confident of a positive outcome.

"I'm calling on our loyal supporters to rally behind the team and make Sani Abacha Stadium a fortress once again," Abdallah said.

"We need patience and unwavering support. The players are determined to deliver a positive result, and with the fans' backing, we can achieve great things."

Kano Pillars currently sit fifth in the league table with 12 points from 11 games.

The newly renovated Sani Abacha Stadium is expected to provide a boost to the team's fortunes, and Abdallah is eager to make the most of home advantage.
