Zimbabwe set for first training session ahead of World Cup Qualifier against Nigeria in Uyo
As Zimbabwe gears up for a crucial FIFA World Cup 2026 CAF Zone Group-C qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, details of their first training session have been confirmed.
According to the team’s Liaison Officer, Edidiong Stephen, the Warriors will hold their first training session on Sunday at 10 AM at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium's practice pitch, Uyo.
Zimbabwean Delegation Arrives in Nigeria
The Zimbabwean squad arrived safely in Uyo on Saturday, March 22, at 3:25 PM, landing at Victor Attah International Airport.
