Young tactician, Yemi Olanrewaju is expected to sign a contract as the head coach of Enyimba on today, Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Olanrewaju took the reins on an interim basis in May after his boss, Finidi George left the team for the Super Eagles job and has now been offered the role full-time.

The 32-year-old had previously worked as an assistant coach at Magate FC, MFM, and Vandrezzer before moving to Enyimba in similar capacity.

This appointment marks Olanrewaju's first stint as a full-time head coach in the Nigerian top flight.

Olanrewaju's appointment comes as a significant milestone in his coaching career, and he will be tasked with leading nine time champions to success in the Nigerian Premier Football League, the title the team relinquished to Rangers last season.
