Xabi Alonso discusses Chelsea’s extended international-break schedule

Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso has spoken about how the club will use the upcoming extended break for international fixtures.

Before the pause begins, Chelsea will face Brentford in the Premier League on 18 September.

The English top flight will then take a lengthy break while national teams play their international matches.
