Wolves chairman Jeff Shi says the club are planning to invest in the squad once again this summer after a quiet transfer window thus far.
The Molineux outfit enjoyed a great season on their return to the Premier League last term, finishing seventh and qualifying Europe.
Wolves spent big last summer to achieve their success and a similar off-season was expected in order to help head coach Nuno Espirito Santo cope with the demands of playing in the Europa League.
The midlands outfit begin their European campaign next week in the second qualifying round but have so far only made two signings, landing Leander Dendoncker and Raul Jimenez on permanent deals after their loan stints with the club last season.
Wolves have also taken the decision to let a handful of players who featured sporadically for Nuno go with Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa both moving on.
Wolves are currently 33/1 to win the Europa League this season but there is a fear the squad is currently too small to mount a serious challenge for the trophy.
Shi believes Wolves currently have enough players to cope with fighting on two fronts but has moved to reassure fans that they can expect some new faces to arrive before the transfer window slams shut in August.
He told Sky Sports News: "The team is still the core. If we can't win games on the pitch it will not be helpful for us.
So we are going to continue to invest in the squad and improve. I know some fans are maybe a little bit nervous, but we are working really hard. So don't worry, we will be ready."
Wolves are 7/2 to break into the top six this season.
