Ghana winger Christian Atsu says he is itching to get started at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with the Black Stars.

Ghana opens its Group C campaign with a tough match against Senegal on Monday under new coach Avram Grant.

The Black Stars are only required to do well at this year’s event being staged in Equatorial Guinea.

But there are subtle high hopes of the side despite their struggles throughput the qualifiers.

Winger Christian Atsu who will be playing in his second straight finals is buzzing ahead of Ghana’s opening match against Senegal.

“Today the African Cup of Nations starts, I can’t wait to play in this tournament along with my great teammates,” the Everton loanee Tweeted.

Ghana will also take on Algeria and then South Africa in their subsequent Group C games which will be played in Mongomo.
