Nigeria Super Eagles Captain, William Troost-Ekong opened his goal-scoring account for his club Al Kholood in their loss to reigning champions of the Saudi Pro League Al Hilal, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ekong scored the second goal as Al Kholood lost 2-4 to Al Hilal who maintain their unbeaten record in the league this season.

Koulibali opened the score for Al Hilal on 38 minutes before Malcom doubled the lead on 43. Al Bulayhi made it 3-0 after 45 and 3 additional minutes.

Renan Lodi scored to increase the margin to four in 48 minutes before Al Hammani pulled one back for the hosts on 71 minutes.

Kholood got a penalty 10 minutes later and it was the Nigerian defender, William Troost-Ekong who stepped on to score and reduce the deficit to two goals, but that's the much the goal could do as the encounter ended 2-4.

Al Hilal remains top with 15 points after 5 matches while Ekong's Al Kholood is 12th with 4 points in 5 matches.
