Asked about the chance for West Ham long-time striker Andy Carroll, turning 30 next January 6, to have his deal with the club extended beyond June 2019, Hammers boss, Manuel Pellegrini, stated: "That's doable. But Andy will have to earn it. When you need to get your contract renewed, of course you must demonstrate why you need to renew. We know what Andy can give to our team, now he must show he is able to do it week by week. He has now the last six months, and I hope that he will be able to do it". Former Newcastle star hitman and Liverpool fiasco is hailing from London Stadium since September  2012.
