Golden Eaglets head coach, Manu Garba, has urged his players to deliver their best performance against Togo in their final group match at the WAFU B U-17 Championship on Wednesday. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports

The defending champions will face the young Hawks after securing a 1-0 victory over Niger Republic in their second game on Sunday night.

This is after their goalless draw against Burkina Faso on Thursday.

Nigeria currently stands second in Group B with four points from two games.

“We have to beat Togo on Wednesday. They are a good side and we will not underrate them,” Garba stated.

“We have trained the players on goal-scoring drills. Nigeria should have scored three goals against Niger. So, we hope the players will convert their chances against Togo.”

The top two teams from the group will face the best teams from Group A — which includes Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, and Benin Republic — in the semi-final.
