Confederation of African Football (CAF) has disclosed that the 2023 African Cup of Nations has 2 billion watching it world wide, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe in a press conference on Friday spoke of the achievements of the ongoing tournament and says that 2025 in Morocco will be interesting.

He states that 2 billion are watching the football showpiece and it something the continent should be proud of.

“We have had close to 2 Billion people watching AFCON globally. We should be proud as Africans and the next one will be even better”, CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe.

The current African Cup of Nations has been tagged by many has the best held in recent times, with goal-breaking records, decent officiating and mouthwatering matches.
