The Nigeria’s Super Eagles and team officials ahead of the crucial tie against Benin Republic departed the country for Abidjan on Sunday afternoon, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The three time African champions find themselves in fifth position in Group C of the African qualifying series following the 1-1 draw against South Africa on Friday.

With one more game before the end of the international break, Nigeria play their West African rivals away in Abidjan.

The game is scheduled for the Felix Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Monday.
