Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum has charged the Nigeria Football Federation to invest in the team after the disappointing show at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigeria’s women senior football team lost all of the three group games scoring one and conceding five.

Despite the quality and tangent in the team, the nine African champions failed to live up to the expectations of many.

Waldrum however, believe if theirs can be more investment on the team, the Super Falcons will be a force to reckon in world football.

“I'm excited about the young players but I really do like the core of our team.

“I guess the one thing I said after the World Cup, and I would continue to say it now publicly, is if we will invest in this team, as a federation and a country, this team would have a chance to be one of the best in the world," The American told ESPN.
