Nigeria's Flying Eagles captain, Daniel Bameyi, has expressed his team's determination to retain the WAFU B U-20 Championship title, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Flying Eagles, winners of the 2022 edition in Niamey, Niger Republic, face Ghana's Black Satellites in today's final in Lome.

"We're delighted to be in the final again, so there's one more dance to dance," said Bameyi. "We need the cup, we need the cup more than Ghana and we will give our very best to bring it home again."

Under coach Aliyu Zubairu, Nigeria aims to secure back-to-back titles.

Nigeria defeated Niger Republic 3-1 in the semis while the Black Satellites triumph over Côte d’Ivoire 2-1.
