Super Eagles forward, Taiwo Awoniyi has donated N2.5 million to the Flying Eagles ahead of their WAFU B U-20 Championship final against Ghana, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Flying Eagles, defending champions of the tournament, have received an outpouring of support from well-meaning Nigerians following their impressive performances.

Awoniyi's gesture follows Super Eagles teammate Wilfred Ndidi's N2 million donation to the team last weekend.

Nigeria secured a 3-1 semi-final victory over Niger Republic on Sunday, booking their spot at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The Flying Eagles will face Ghana's Black Satellites in the WAFU B Championship final on Wednesday.
