WAFA thrash Division Two side Mobile Phone People ahead of Ghana Premier League resumption

WAFA beat third-tier side Mobile Phone People 4-0 in a friendly played on Wednesday at the WAFA Stadium in Sogakope.

The First Team were missing several key players including goalkeeper Felix Annan, midfield gem Gideon Waja, winger Majeed Zakaria, Caleb Amankwah and Samuel Tetteh.

But the selected players gave a good account of themselves with head coach John Killa watching from the bench.

Midfielder Umar Bashiru opened the scoring on 13 minutes and Langui Koffi Becanty added the second in the 33rd minute.

Captain Martin Antwi made it three on 36 minutes to take a 3-0 lead into the break.

Four minutes after the interval, substitute Ibrahim Fofana grabbed the fourth.
