Vinicius reportedly unhappy with Real Madrid support for Mbappe’s Ballon d’Or bid

Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior have a good relationship away from the pitch, but their partnership at Real Madrid is reportedly more complicated.

The assessment comes from a source who has good relationships with both players, according to The Athletic journalist Mario Cortegana.

Rumours have suggested that the two forwards are not entirely comfortable with one another during matches, despite maintaining a positive relationship in their private lives.

The same source also believes Vinicius is unhappy with the support being given to Mbappe’s candidacy for the Ballon d’Or.

The award will be presented on 26 October.
