Viktor Gyokeres could leave Arsenal with Atletico de Madrid interest

Viktor Gyokeres could leave Arsenal during the January transfer window because the Sweden striker is unhappy with the amount of playing time he has received this season.

According to journalists at Teamtalk, Atletico de Madrid is among the clubs being considered as a possible destination for the 28-year-old. Interest in Gyokeres also comes from clubs in the English Premier League.

Gyokeres has made three appearances in the English championship this season without registering a goal or an assist.

The striker’s contract with Arsenal runs until the end of June 2030. Transfermarkt values the player at 55 million euros.
