Kotoko players were in good form yesterday

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko scored a well-worked goal on Sunday as they completed a double over Bechem United after a 2-1 in Kumasi.

The reigning league champions won the first round tie 3-1 in Bechem and managed to win all maximum points in the second round encounter.

Dauda Mohammed got the opener for Kotoko before Aminu Mohammed equalised for Bechem United in the second half.

Striker Ahmed Toure then converted a penalty in the 88th minute to give coach David Duncan's side all three points.

Kotoko are now 8th on the league log with 28 points while Bechem United are 12th.
