He signed a long-term contract with the club earlier this month and Arsenal fans will be hoping to see more of Alex Iwobi in the first-team after the striker’s stunning brace for the U19s today.

The Nigerian forward, nephew of Bolton legend Jay-Jay Okocha, has been at Arsenal since the age of 10 and has been tipped to break into Arsene Wenger’s first-team in the coming seasons.

The Gunners face Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich tonight but both side’s U19 teams were facing off in the Uefa youth league today where the north Londoners ran out 2-0 winners thanks to Iwobi’s goals.

Wenger’s been heavily linked with a move for a forward this January but, with Iwobi in his ranks, does he really need a new striker?
