Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari trained for the first time in Saudi Arabia on Monday night with his Al Ittihad teammates.

The former AC Milan player did not travel with the team from Milan, where they held their pre-season training, to Jeddah on Thursday.

Muntari joined later and was hailed by the club’s supporters who were at the training ground.

The 30-year-old signed a two-year contract reported to be around the region of 14 million euros.
