Nigeria's Victor Olatunji helped Sparta Prague kick start their title defense in the 2024/2025 Czech First League season on a winning note, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Olatunji's second half goal was enough to to see the league reigning champions earn all three points in a 2-1 win over Pardubice at the epet Arena.

The visitors opened the scoring after twenty-five minutes of play, when Thomas Zlatohlavek buried the ball to the net.

However the Spartans got the equalizer at the dead of half time through  Budinský Ryneš.

Olatunji made it two after deflecting Pavelko's shot on 59 minute as the league giants held on to the win.
