Nigeria Super Eagles duo of Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella emerge champions of the German Super Cup after Bayer Leverkusen defeated Stuttgart, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Boniface scored as the German Bundesliga champions were crowned winners of the first domestic cup after winning 4-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw at full time.

The Nigerian striker opened score on 10 minute before Stuttgart equalled score on 15 minute through Enzo Millot before Martin Terrier was shown a red card as the first half ended 1-1.

Deniz Undav put Stuttgart ahead for the first time on 63 minute before substitute Patrik Schick restored parity on 88 minute to take the tie to penalties.

Meanwhile, Victor Boniface played for 41 minute of the game while Nathan Tella played for 73 minute.
