Rangers manager Giovanni Van Bronckhorst will try his best to persuade Nigerian star Joe Aribo to stay at the club.

The Super Eagles midfielder is a key target for the likes of Southampton and newly-promoted Premier League duo of Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

According to the Daily Mail, Aribo is a wanted man this summer, as Rangers look to hold onto their key midfielder.

He scored nine goals from a staggering 57 appearances last season, also providing 10 assists. One of Aribo’s goals came in the Europa League final, where the Scottish Premiership outfit eventually lost to Eintracht Frankfurt on penalties.

Van Bronckhorst will be hoping that his plans to convince the versatile Nigeria International are successful and he will stay at Ibrox and add more silverware to his cabinet, having won the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup already.
