Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will play no part in Elche’s away clash against Granada at the New Los Cármenes stadium on Monday (today) in Spanish second division league.

Its the second league game in a row the 20-year-old Nigerian international will be missing from action fueling speculations about his future at the club according to a report on a Spanish website,diariofranjiverde.com.

Uzoho was left out of Elche’s matchday squad that defeated Ike Uche’s Gimnastic 1-0 last weekend.

He is currently on a season loan deal from Deportivo La Coruna.

Elche have recorded one win this season away from home and will aim for a second this campaign when they take on Granada who occupy the second spot in the Spanish second division league table.

The 20-year-old has kept three clean sheets and has conceded ten goals in seven league appearances.

Uzoho has been the first choice Nigeria goalkeeper since making his debut against Argentina in a pre-World Cup friendly in November 2017.

The Deportivo La Coruna loanee has played 12 times for the Super Eagles, conceding 12 goals and keeping five clean sheets.
