The Super Eagles camp in Uyo is taking shape ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with 11 players and key coaching staff arriving on Monday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Captain William Troost-Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, and Taiwo Awoniyi were among the early arrivals, while caretaker head coach Augustine Eguavoen and assistant Fidelis Ilechukwu also checked in.

Victor Boniface, the Bayer Leverkusen forward, joined the team in the evening before Stanley Nwabali’s arrival on Monday night, bringing the total number of players in camp to 11.

Other players in Uyo include Olisa Ndah, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Wilfred Ndidi, and Amas Obasojie.

The remaining players are expected to arrive on Tuesday, ahead of the team's first official training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium's practice pitch.

With the team starting to take shape, the Super Eagles are gearing up for a strong campaign in the AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
