Nigeria International Striker Umar Sadiq is likely to be sidelined for the rest of the 22/23 season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament(ACL).

 

Sadiq picked up the injury in Real Sociedad’s 2-1 defeat to Getafe on Sunday night.

 

The Spanish Club provided an update of the former Partizan Belgrade forward.

The 25-year-old joined Real Sociedad from another LaLiga club, Almeria on transfer deadline day.

 

He will be unavailable for the Super Eagles when they face the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
