Union look to stretch out
The Philadelphia Union can stretch their lead atop the Eastern Conference to four points on Saturday when they entertain the New York Red Bulls at the Talen Energy Stadium.
The Union currently leads the Montreal Impact and DC United by a point in the standings despite having played one game less than DC United and two less than Montreal.
Atlanta United FC are fourth, two points adrift of Philadelphia, but having played one fewer fixture than the Union.
Meanwhile the Red Bulls have also played one game less, but are four points back in fifth place.
Philadelphia comes into the game on the back of a 3-2 victory over Minnesota United FC last time out.
Auston Trusty's goal with four minutes remaining in regulation turned out to be the winner for the visitors to Allianz Field.
New York is undefeated in their last five, demolishing Real Salt Lake 4-0 last week. Daniel Royer, Michael Murillo and Omir Fernandez were on target for New York at the Red Bull Arena after a Marcelo Silva own goal had started the demise of Real Salt Lake.
Philadelphia are 21/20 for the win, with New York 12/5 and the draw priced at 5/2.
