Victor Osimhen's goal proved vital once again for Galatasaray in their UEFA Europa League match against AZ Alkmaar, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles striker scored for Galatasaray after the hosts had gone into the lead earlier in the game at AZ Stadion.

Svens Mijnans opened score for Alkmaar 2 minutes into the encounter before Osimhen restored parity 2 minutes to the end of the first half.

The tie remained the same till the end of the second half as Galatasaray stay 4th on the log with the result while AZ Alkmaar are 19th on the log.

It is now 3 goals in 4 matches for the reigning African footballer of the year who was shown a yellow card in the 85th minute after playing the entire duration.
