Nigeria's Anthony Ujah propelled his side, Botev Plovdiv to victory with a goal in the UEFA Europa League over NK Maribor, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

He scored and assisted the winner as Bulgarian side, Botev started their qualifiers with a win at Hristo Botev" Stadium.

Ujah opened score after nine minutes of the game before Maribor equalised in the 19th minute through.

However, the Nigerian striker sent a cross to Nikola Iliev to score Botev's second and the winner.

Ujah joined Botev as a free agent in July from Eintracht Braunschweig in Germany.

Meanwhile, Samuel Akere played 81 minute while Christian Nwachukwu played for 71 minute for Botev Plovdiv.
