Enyimba captain Chinedu Udoji says the side must avoid defeat in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League clash against Shooting Stars Sports Club in Ibadan to boost their chances of successfully defending the title. The Aba giants have endured a slump in form recently having failed to secure a win in their last three games in the NPFL. Paul Aigbogun’s men sit in the sixth position, six points behind leaders Wikki Tourists of Bauchi. And ahead of Sunday’s visit to Ibadan, Udoji has challenged his team mates to end their poor run of form. “We are not happy with our performance in recent games and the results,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com. “We still believe we can successfully defend the title and to do that we must start winning games. “It’s important we win the game against Shooting Stars and we will strive hard to do that.”
