Nigeria's Victor Osimhen scored the equaliser in Napoli's draw against AC Milan in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter final match on Tuesday night, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Osimhen made a return from injury in the champions to equalise late in the second half but it was a little too late as it ended 1-1 (1-2 on aggregate) for Milan to qualify.

Napoli had lost by a goal to nil seven days ago at the San Siro in the absence of their Nigerian talisman was out due to injury suffered during international break.

Osimhen showed how greatly he has been missed as he scored his fifth goal in the competition via a powering header in the 90+3 minute after Olivier Giruod scored in the 43rd minute.

Victor Osimhen has now equalled the most goals for a Nigerian player in a single #UCL season with Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Obafemi Martins the other Nigerian players to have achieved same feat.
