Uche Set for Getafe Return After Crystal Palace Loan Spell
Christantus Uche is expected to return to Getafe CF this summer following the completion of his loan spell at Crystal Palace, Nigeriasoccernet.com understands.
The Nigerian midfielder joined the Premier League side on loan last summer but has struggled to secure regular playing time at Selhurst Park.
Uche’s loan deal reportedly included an obligatory purchase clause that would have been triggered if he started 10 league matches in the Premier League.
However, the Nigerian international is yet to make a league start for the Eagles this season.
The 21-year-old has made 14 league appearances for Crystal Palace so far, with all of them coming from the bench.
With the condition for a permanent transfer unlikely to be met, Uche is now expected to return to Getafe ahead of next season in La Liga.
