Ghana Under-20 defender Emmanuel Ntim expect the team to build on their impressive 4-2 win over Qatar in their opening five-nation tournament in New Zealand ahead of the World Cup later this month.

The Ghanaian showed great chemistry and character to rally from behind to beat the Asian counterpart on Monday.

And defender Emmanuel Ntim expects the team to build on their impressive win ahead of the start of the World showpiece on May 30.

“We are happy with the win but we are still focused on the job at hand,” the Valenciennes defender said.

“The team will keep working very hard for the World Cup.

“With a strong team mentality I am sure we can make it [at the World Cup].”

The Black Satellites, former world champions in 2009, are housed in group B where they will take on Argentina, Panama and Austria.
