The Nigeria U17 team, Golden Eaglets pass their Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) test on Tuesday, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Although not surprising going by the young look of he players selected by Nduka Ugbade chose for the tournament, one have no reason to doubt the genuineness of their age ans that ease the work of the CAF's medical team who completed the tast under an hour.
The CAF medical team were equally impressed with the players Nigeria will be parading at the AFCON U 17 tournament that will begin this weekend.
“When MRI test is performed on a team and they are spending much time, it simply shows that the doctors wants to be very sure of what they are seeing from the test, which does not indicate good news most occasions,” a source quoted by Sportgister said.
“But the case of Nigeria was quite different. The players already caught the attention of the medical team looking very young when they got to the hospital.
“And the whole process of testing the 26 players completed smoothly without hitches. This is a wonderful development for African football,” he said.
The team have departed Algiers for Constantine, where they will tackle Zambia, Morocco and South Africa in Group B games.
