U-20 AFCON: “we want to win the trophy.” Abel Ogwuche
Flying Eagles centerback Abel Ogwuche after progressing to the semifinal of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and securing a spot at the World Cup in Indonesia revealed Nigeria will be aim at the AFCON trophy, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The seven time champion defeated the Hippo of Ugandan 1-0 on Thursday night and the Man of the Match in the encounter, Ogwuche has assured that after the World Cup ticket, they are relaxed and their eyes are set on the AFCON trophy.
“It was a very good preparation from the start and yes we achieve our aim now.” Ogwuche said.
“Getting the World Cup ticket and of cause we want to win the trophy again by the special grace of God.”
The young lad also thank Nigerians for their support and promised to bring the trophy back home.
