Nigeria’s Flying Eagles center-back Abel Ogwuche said the team is determined to win the bronze medal at the soon to end U-20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, Nigeriasoccernet.com  reports.

Nigeria after securing qualification for the U-20 World Cup was defeated by Gambia in the semifinal in Cairo, Egypt and so have a third place battle against another losing semifinalist, Tunisia today.

Ogwuche in the press conference claimed the Flying Eagles would be playing to secure a podium finish.

“We are a hundred percent prepared to take something back to Nigeria,” Ogwuche told the press.

“We lost the last game but in football there can only be three outcomes.”
