John Obi Mikel could follow team-mate Oscar to China in the January transfer window as two Chinese clubs have reportedly made moves for the out of favor Chelsea man.

The Nigerian super star has failed to make an impact for the Stamford Bridge club this season since the arrival of new manager Antonio Conte and with his contract running up in the Summer, Mikel is believed to be considering taking the plunge into the Far East following offers from two undisclosed Chinese Super League sides.

Conte's side are yet to offer their long serving midfielder who has been at Stamford Bridge since 2006 a new deal, with his current deal set to expire after this season.

During his spell at the club, Mikel has gone on to make 374 appearance for the West London side, winning two Premier League titles, four FA Cup’s, two League Cup’s, the Europa League and the Champions League.

Antonio Conte has revealed he has no plans to let the 2016 Olympic bronze medallist leave in January, but has conceded that a new deal is unlikely.
