Nigeria Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has ended the season as top scorer of the Turkish Super Lig following another goal in the last match of the season against Istanbul Basaksehir, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The former African Footballer of the Year netted his 26th goal and 37th goal in the league and competition, respectively, at the RAMS Park on Friday.

Osimhen scored the second goal on 81 minutes with a fine header from Kaan Ayhan’s cross from the right wing at the far post, following the first goal by Dries Mertens from the spot in the 2-0 win in the 17th minutes of play.

The Galatasaray loanee, who was yellow-carded in the first half, played for 87 minutes in what could be his last for the Turkish giants.

Osimhen in 41 matches scored 37 goals and assisted 8 times.
