TRANSFERS - Sporting Lisbon meeting Inter Milan demand on Joao Mario

A key factor in Sporting Lisbon managing to win Primeira Liga national title, 28-year old Portuguese international midfielder Joao Mario is now transitioning into being signed by Leoes on a permanent move.
Joining Inter Milan first, back in summer 2016, after having won European League as a playmaker for Portugal, Joao Mario never actually made it into establishing himself as a cornerstone for Italian giants. To this end, he got loaned out to West Ham, first (2017/18 second half), and to Lokomotiv Moscow (2019/20 whole campaign).
Now, Sporting and Inter are meeting each other in the middle, and, according to CM.com, Neroazzurri are cashing a 7 million euros transfer fee from Leoes themselves. On top of that, Joao Mario is going to be signed on a 3-year deal, including a further season-long extending option.
