In a report published by Mediotiempo, Club America's goalkeeper Oscar Jimenez seems set to join Atletico San Luis, looking to have a more involved role, after he only played in nine games with Las Aguilas since joining the Mexico City club in 2017, mostly seeing action in CopaMX and Under-20 youth side play.

The 32-year old won one LigaMX title in the Apertura 2018, as well as the CopaMX in the Clausura 2019; however he was never able to consistently start, instead having to play second fiddle to Augustin Marchesin first and Guillermo Ochoa later. According to the report, America would already be looking to replace him, and one of the names near the top of the list would be that of Queretaro goalkeeper Gil Alcala, who has also received interest from rivals Guadalajara.
