TRANSFERS - Marseille close to signing American striker

According to La Provence, Olympique de Marseille is close to signing American striker Konrad de la Fuente from FC Barcelona.

De La Fuente, 19, has been playing with Barcelona Youth and B teams since 2014. His contract with the Spanish giants is set to expire next year, and OM is close to an agreement on a € 5 million transfer fee in a deal that might include a buy-back option for Barca. The American appeared in two Champions League games for Barcelona this season.
