According to Calciomercato.com, Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario is close to a permanent move to Sporting CP. The player already agreed to personal terms with the Primeira Liga Champions on what is reportedly a 3 or 4 year deal. Sporting in recent days also found common ground with Inter Milan on a € 7 million transfer fee. Initially the two sides were far apart on the transfer fee, with Inter asking for € 10 million. Inter acquired Joao Mario from Sporting CP in 2016 for a € 40 million transfer fee, loaning him to West Ham, Lokomotiv Moscow and Sporting itself in the last three seasons.
