TRANSFERS - Benfica approaching Inter Milan surplus Lazaro

Not rather likely to be kept into Inter Milan squad, unless Neroazzurri boss Simone Inzaghi turns out wanting it to be otherwise, 25-year old Austrian international wingback Valentino Lazaro, previously linked to a move back into Bundesliga realms, is getting more and more likely to join Benfica ranks. Portuguese club are in fact in advanced talks with Serie A defending champions upon former Hertha Berlin and Borussia Monchengladbach player, most likely over a further buy-back loan spell.
Still on a deal with Italian giants until June 2024, Lazaro, previously playing for Newcastle as well, is still tracked by Eintracht Frankfurt as well, and, in case negotiations end up sailing that way, he might be part of a swap deal involving Filip Kostic.
