Atletico Madrid is poised for a significant revamp of their attacking options this summer. Memphis Depay's departure seems certain, while Alvaro Morata's future remains unclear.

The return of Nigeria eligible young striker Samu Omorodion from his loan at Alaves offered some hope, but even that's in question. Reports emerged late Monday suggesting a €30 million move to the Premier League for Omorodion as first called by Cadena Cope, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

This would represent a €24 million profit for Atletico in just one year.

However, transfer expert Matteo Moretto disputes these claims. He asserts that Omorodion who is eligible to represent Nigeria and also Spain at the international level is "not even close" to a Premier League move and that Atletico has already rejected offers exceeding €30 million.

While a hefty sum for Omorodion would be tempting to fund defensive reinforcements, Atletico faces a dilemma. The 20-year-old Spanish-Nigerian forward has immense potential, but likely needs time to develop. Patience is a rare commodity in top-flight football, making Atletico's decision on his future all the more critical.
