English Premier League outfit Aston Villa are intending add to their squad Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanaccho the moment the winter transfer window opens in January, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Leicester City forward has six months left on his contract and could leave for free of the Foxes fail to sell him in January.

Aston Villa, according to Football Insider, have identified Iheanacho and RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner as potential targets.

The 27-year-old has registered six goals and two assists in 20 appearances for Leicester following their relegation from the Premier League last term.

Iheanacho moved to Leicester from Manchester City in 2017 and has played top flight football until the club got relegated to the Championship last season.
