Transfer: Arsenal send Okonkwo on loan to Cheshunt
English Premier League outfit, Arsenal has revealed that their goalkeeper Brian Okonkwo has completed a work experience loan move to Isthmian Premier League side Cheshunt FC until the culmination of the season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The statement confirming the loan was issued by the Premier League North London club through their official website.
Okonkwo, who joined the Gunners’ academy in April 2018, is 18 years old and has previously enjoyed successful loan spells with Hitchin Town and Leatherhead.
In part, Arsenal's statement expressed well wishes for Okonkwo's loan stint at Cheshunt, emphasizing the club's anticipation of his ongoing development.
Meanwhile, the terms of the deal will see Brian fulfil his training schedule with Arsenal’s Academy and then join the non-league side ahead of their matchdays.
