In-form Ghana midfielder Solomon Asante has predicted a successful 2015 Africa Cup of Nations campaign for the Black Stars.

Asante is one of Ghana’s key players going into the tournament after debuting at the last championship in South Africa.

The TP Mazembe star played a massive role in the qualification campaign to Equatorial Guinea.

Asante is confident the Black Stars will come on in leaps and bounds when they begin their competition on 19 January against Senegal in Mongomo.

“I believe in the Black Stars and whoever plays,” Asante told GHANASoccernet.com

“We will have to believe in ourselves and spend less time on stuffs which do not matter.

“I am sure we will break records in Equatorial Guinea we pray for an injury free camping in Spain.”
