Nigerian representatives Rivers United have been drawn into Group A of the CAF Champions League alongside holders Pyramids SC, RS Berkane, and Power Dynamos, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The draw took place on Monday in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Rivers United, led by coach Finidi George, will be making their debut in the group stage after overcoming Black Bulls of Mozambique 3-1 on aggregate in the qualifying rounds.

They will face stiff competition from experienced opponents, including Pyramids SC, the reigning champions, RS Berkane of Morocco, and Power Dynamos from Zambia.
