Torres seals Sevilla switch
Julen Lopetegui has continued to overhaul his Sevilla squad by signing the Spanish midfielder Oliver Torres from Porto.
The 24-year-old is former Spain, Porto and Real Madrid boss Lopetegui's ninth signing since the end of last season.
Torres played under Lopetegui at the Under-20 World Cup for Spain in 2013 and when they were both at Porto.
"I have had some great moments with Julen and returning to La Liga with Sevilla is an opportunity and a privilege," Torres said at his unveiling on Monday.
It is believed that Sevilla paid Porto approximately 12 million euros to secure Torres' services,
Sevilla finished sixth in La Liga last season since when they have revamped their squad - selling nine players and buying nine, including defender Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid, former Manchester City midfielder Fernando, Diego Carlos from Nantes and PSV Eindhoven's Luuk de Jong.
The likes of Gabriel Mercado, Luis Muriel and Quincy Promes have all left Sevilla since the end of last term.
Lopetegui was sacked by Spain just before the start of World Cup 2018 and then axed by Real Madrid less than four months after being appointed following the club's poor start to the last campaign.
Sevilla are 11/8 to beat Espanyol on 18th August and 5/2 to finish in the Top 4 in La Liga in 2019/20.
